Take Care of Oregon Days - Community in Action School Beautification
We may not have signed up to have an official "Take Care of Oregon Day", but we can still celebrate Oregon's 150th birthday and get out and volunteer. Please join us Sunday, May 17, any time between 9am and 1pm to weed, trim and clean up our school grounds. You bring your kids, gloves and weeding tools and we'll provide the debris bags, water and snacks. Come, volunteer, visit and feel good about giving back to our community and keeping our school beautiful.
5th Grade Used Book sale Huge Success!
With a focus on becoming GREEN, we would like to congratulate the 5th grade legacy project and Janet DiGangi, Marianne Chin, Elizabeth Sheiman and Mary Nichols on a fantastic and very successful first ever used book sale. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the 5th grade legacy project. This year, the project will be placing two game tables on the concrete pads that were very recently poured near the playground. These tables will greatly increase the play opportunities our children have on the playground for years to come. Proceeds will also benefit the Ronald McDonald House, the 5th graders' choice for service giving. Congratulations to our volunteers, our 5th graders and our community.

Our annual FPE carnival is around the corner and we need your help!
The FPE carnival is on May 29th and we need volunteers to help with various activities such as working shifts at your child's class booth (email your room parent), selling tickets, and strong hands for set-up & clean up. This event is one of FPE's largest and a favorite of children and parents alike. As such, it requires tremendous volunteer support. Get involved with your community and have some fun too!
