4th Grade Auction Art Project

“Lewis & Clark:  Rooted in History”

Meriwether Lewis and William Clark took meticulous journals of their great expedition out west.  Taking snippets from these journals, the 4th grade students used their best cursive to retell a short tale of Lewis & Clark’s journey through Oregon to the Pacific, misspellings and all.  They also helped cut the flowers, stems, and nuts, which were then clustered atop the acrylic-painted canvas.  Truly a wild field of fascinating history!
