North Portland Field Trip

 

 Because of field day being postponed to Monday afternoon, we’re shortening our field trip to Cathedral Park.

 

We'll still have lunch there and walk across the St. Johns Bridge, we just won't explore St. Johns

 

When: Monday, June 14^th 9:30am-12pm

Where: Cathedral Park (Under the St. Johns Bridge)

Why: We’ll explore Cathedral Park, eat lunch and walk across the St. Johns Bridge.

** Please remember to bring a lunch, water and wear sunscreen. We’ll be outside most of the day!

Mill Pond Picnic - Tuesday June 8th

Dear Families,

Originally we planned to go to Mill Pond Park for our picnic on Wednesday June 9. In looking at the forecast for the week it looks like rain, AGAIN! To make sure the kids still get this opportunity, we would like to change the picnic to TUESDAY June 8 instead.

Kids will need to pack a sack lunch, if they have a football or frisbee to throw around that would be terrific. We also plan to allow time for end of the year autographs, so if they have their year books they can take those along. As a treat, we will have juice pops after lunch.

Slather them up in sunscreen and pray for sun!

In addition, there are spelling words and a spelling test on Friday.

The words are:

Challenge words are: announcer, governor, manager, scientist
