Wow! We're impressed with the craft and creativity that was used in making the wonderful bridges that the kids brought in Friday. They're on display upstairs and in the library. If you have time, come check them out. They're really amazing!
This week, we'll be writing our bridge paragraphs that the kids have been working on for homework onto notecards. We'll practice in class the next few days and present our speeches Thursday and Friday.
Thanks to all of you that supported Forest Park Elementary at the auction with your time, energy and donations. It was a great success!
This Friday, we'll be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday by wearing our
pajamas to school and enjoying books read by guest readers.
Next
week, we'll be starting Project Second Wind to collect food for the
Oregon Food Bank. The goal is for everyone to bring in 35 pounds of
food or seven dollars (they are equivalent). That way, we'll meet our
goal. Thanks for your support!
